COVID-19: Tax Brief and Relief Provisions

As your business partner, R.J. Augustine is constantly monitoring the evolving situation of Covid-19. Governor Pritzker issued a Shelter in Place Order beginning Saturday, March 21st, through April 7th. We are fortunate enough to be considered an essential business service under this executive order. Our office is open with limited on-site staff, with the remainder of our staff working virtually from home. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly with any questions or comments as we are here to assist.

We are here to help navigate our clients through these difficult economic times. As Coronavirus wreaks economic havoc, Congress and the Internal Revenue Service have acted swiftly through the tax law in response. The Senate passed the Updated Economic Relief Plan (CARES Act) for Individuals and Business. The bill is intended to be another round of federal government support in the wake of the Coronavirus public health crisis and associated economic fallout, following the $8.3 billion in public health support passed two weeks ago and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. We attached an informative tax brief highlighting some of the relief provisions provided for in the pending legislation. We have a team set up specializing in the completion and coordination of the available loan and grant relief programs. Please do not hesitate to contact our office today to discuss.

It is a privilege to service you through these times of uncertainty. As always, we thank you for the trust and confidence you have placed in us. We hope you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy
