How a restaurant grew, grew, grew
A client came to us hungry for a way to open twenty new restaurants in five years. To own each site, the estimated cost per location was $2 Million - $2.5 Million for land acquisition, building, leasehold and equipment package.
After thoughtful analysis, RJA found that the company didn't have the related equity or capital that would allow them to undertake such an expansion and own each location. So we searched for alternative financing options and found a solution. A small investment group agreed to acquire the land and build the buildings. It would then lease the sites and buildings back to the client with an option to purchase after an agreed upon number of years.
Repeatable success! Thanks to creative planning and out-of-the-box thinking, our client finished the leasehold, provided the equipment package and expanded according to plans.
